Easter
We had a wonderful and very FULL Easter day. The Easter bunny came the night before, so we had the excitement of finding the loot in the morning. We went to church and then over to the MacLean's for brunch and an Easter egg hunt (sorry Stacy - and Tami), it appears we didn't get many piks to share. Then off to Grandma and Grandpa Isernhagen's for another Easter egg hunt and dinner. Happy Easter 2008!

Weekend
We went to watch little Miss Emily play a volleyball game on Friday - 3rd grade.....couldn't be cuter!!!!!
I enjoyed watching the game, but the boys had more fun playing ring around the rosie with Rachel.
Went to a Nuggets game on Friday night with Grandma and Grandpa (sorry, no good stories.....)

We went to see Horton Hears a Who this afternoon - Cooper and his Mommy came too! I thought the movie was good - I would certainly recommend it.

Brothers
"Mom, some peoples don't have brothers, huh?"
"I think that some people who don't have a brother named Jake will be very sad"
"We are so lucky we have brothers - right Mom"?

Rhythms Reunion in Breckenridge
A couple of weeks ago I went to Breckenridge for the weekend with some girls I used to work with at Rhythms. I've continued to be impressed with the fact that we haven't worked together for 7/8 years but we still make the effort to keep in touch . Cheryl and Alicia live in Dallas now, but the rest of us still meet for Happy Hour once a month. There have been so many changes over the years after leaving Rhythms: 4 weddings 6 babies (with 3 more on the way.....Alicia is pregnant again and so is Laura - with twin girls!), new dogs, new jobs, new homes......
I fully expect to posting about these girls and our fun times in the next 7/8 years.
BTW...we missed you Kim.

Sunny Phoenix
We took a trip to Phoenix this past weekend for a bit of golfin' and spa'ing. We stayed at this cute resort in Litchfield Park that was built in the early 1900's. It was quite charming and had 3 golf courses on the property - we didn't have to go far for great golfing (although, I'm sure Erik wouldn't recommend playing the gold 'Monster' course from the tips on a windy day).
We took these pictures on the second day. Notice the sweaters/jackets - the wind started to blow and it would get quite chilly (ok Erin, I believe you now - 70 degrees CAN be cold there). We went with one of Erik's partners, Dennis and his wife Valerie.
It was a nice break to get away to a sunny place - I think I may now be able to handle another month or so of unpredictable snow (one month and counting until the Bahamas - yipeeeeeeeee!)
