Looking forward to Thanksgiving

I know that Halloween isn't even here yet, but I am really looking forward to another Thanksgiving in the mountains.  I think this is our 10th or 11th year - can anyone confirm?  We are switching it up a bit and going to Keystone instead of Breckenridge.

Gobble, gobble, gobble.

BATMAN!

We walked outside and had a present on our front step.  A batman cave from Nana and Papa.  Neato!  Thanks Nana and Papa - we love you!

Little Helpers

The boys love to help me in the kitchen .  I'm pretty sure this will go away fairly soon so I am taking advantage of this kind of time with them every chance I get.  I LOVE anything pumpkin - pumpkin pie, pumpkin bars, pumpkin bagels, pumpkin muffins (and I am looking forward to Justin's pumpkin beer).  So what a great day to make pumpkin cookies.  They measured and stirred and Jake set the table.  Oh, and the cookies were YUMMY!

Dragons

 2008 Dragons!
The season is over - ha! that was fun.

Pumpkin Patch

We went on our annual outing to pick out our pumpkins.  The weather was WONDERFUL this weekend.  79 degrees on Saturday and 72 today (which was perfect weather for golfing.....so we went)

that's a power ranger mask on his head

This is the reason I haven't been regularly updating the blog.  I REALLY like my new computer but haven't exactly taken the time to learn how to be proficient on it.  Give me some time :)

Soccer

Soccer has been in full swing for a couple of weeks now and I am bummed that I haven't had any posts (dumb computer problems).    The name of the boys' team is the Dragons - cute!!!  If you've never been to a 4 year olds soccer game trust me, it's HYSTERICAL!  Now I feel the need to brag on my boys a bit.....last Saturday the Dragons scored a total of 7 goals.  Jake scored the very first goal and had a total of two.  Ben scored 4 goals!

WONDER TWINS - ACTIVATE!!!!

What's with the crowns?  Grandma and Grandpa took the boys to Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus the night before and bought them crowns.  On the way to the soccer game, Jake and Ben decided that whenever someone scored they got to wear the crown.

Both of them were pretty stinkin proud of themselves and couldn't get the smile off of their face. Daddy had the boys on his lap for a victory photo.  Jake was giving a thumbs up - Ben was giving a "Four! I scored FOUR goals!"
