December in the Park

We went to play at the park with Nana the other day. There was still snow on the ground but it was a warm 57 degrees.

Birthday Party

We went to Cooper's birthday party on Saturday. His super creative Mommy threw a 'Lotsa Pasta' party. She made Cooper a Chef's outfit and the invitation even came complete with a wisk. All of the kids were given aprons and chef's hats and made their own pasta creations and decorated cupcakes (cute idea).

Gingerbread men and Concerts

On Saturday night we went to watch Sarah and Emily sing in their Christmas Concert for the Children's Chorale (they did a great job). Darin and Deborah came over to hang out with the boys while we were at the concert. While we were gone, the cooking theme continued - they made a gingerbread house and decorated cookies. They've asked a couple of times already "are Darin and Deborah coming over again today to make stuff with us?" Thanks Whites!
After the concert we went to Bucca - then off to 'Rachel's house' for a mean game of scrabble while the boys watched a movie and ran around and around and around with Emily and Rachel.

Thanksgiving in Breck 2007

Turkey Day 2007

Click on the Link to play. I can't figure out how to put the entire show on the site like last year (warning....it's long)

We had another wonderful time this year. I think we've agreed this was our 10th annual mountain Thanksgiving with friends. There were 13 adults and 6 kids under the age of 4 (no really). Rob, Eva and Quinn were able to make the trip from Erlangen but the Krier's decided to stay in Denver and have a baby. Joel, Chris, Heather and Zack left before the group picture. I'm sure someone will figure out how to photoshop them in. We stayed an extra day this time - Thursday through Monday which was perfect! Jake called it our house in the mountains.....if only it was OUR house.

Jackson David Krier is here!!!! Congratulations Todd and Ronda.

I'd recommend it

We took the boys to see Bee Movie tonight. They liked it and are already repeating quotes from the movie (who does that sound like?)

Back from Idaho

Erik was out of town this week, so the boys and I decided to take a short trip to see Nana and Papa in Idaho. We had a fun time - went to see Idaho State play Montana State in football, rode horses, went to the "fun palace" and played and played and played with Nana and Papa. On the plane

At the football game. Hard to say what they liked more, the game or the ice cream, popcorn and juice!

We went to Uncle Dave's and rode horses. Jake had no fear at all and wanted to ride again and again. Ben got on long enough to ride in a circle and get his picture taken.

Jake and Ben with Nana and Papa
This is Igor, the bird. The boys were SO curious about him. They would ask my mom to take him out of the cage, but then say "I think he wants to go back in now".

Happy Halloweeeny from the Isernhagens

I just have to say.....this holiday is SOOOOO fun when you have kids. They got it this year, holy cow did they get it. We went out tonight and they got soooo excited when they saw all of their friends out in costumes. They RAN from house to house in this huge, overwhelming pack. Halloween 2007 was a success!
Jackson even got a treat from a house or two (sorry about the weird green eye pick...couldn't figure out how to fix it)

Notice the pirate ship pumpkin. It looked really good with the candlelight, but we aren't savvy enough with the camera to capture it properly.
