Mommy's Mascara

So, I've been told that I have some pretty funny stories about the various things that the boys do, but I only put the sweet, cute pictures on the website. To appease those critics, I'm starting the post the "funnies" (see previous toity post). Frankly, I think you people like to laugh at my misery (although, I must admit it's always funnier to me a few days later). Here's today's "WHAT ARE YOU DOING????" post. Right after they got out of the bathtub they found my mascara - which immediately put them right back into the bathtub). Unfortunately for Ben, he had the waterproof mascara.

AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!! The boys have been infatuated with anything water. They love to play in the toilet - gross, I know! So......this is what the toity in their bathroom looks like right now. We are on our way to buy a lock to put on the bathroom door. Potty training is going to be hard now that they aren't allowed in the bathroom :)

Taking a Little Nap

Ever since we moved the boys into toddler beds (and out of the "cribjails"), they haven't wanted to take afternoon naps. BUT, they still get tired and need one. Yesterday, Jake thought that a good time to get a little sleep was during his peanut and jelly sandwich.

Sledding

We have had 3 snow storms in 3 weeks! Pete made a fun "Alpine Slide" type sled hill in his back yard (I could be wrong, but Lydia said she helped too - I don't know if I believe that she would actually brave the cold and snow long enough to do that, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt). It started on the side of the playhouse, all the way down to the back porch (if you've never seen their backyard....that's a long way)

Anyway, Ben, Rachel, Pete and Erik went back and forth on that hill/trail over 100 times (or so it seemed). We weren't prepared - notice pink boots and bibs - but Ben was having SO much fun - see permanent smile on his face -

Murder At The Four Deuces

The MacLeans hosted a Murder Mystery Party on New Years Eve. As it turned out, Rebecca Ravioli, daughter of Vicky and Big Jim Ravioli, murdered her father at the grand opening of Don Wannabe and Madame MeMe's Four Deuces.

Congratulations!

Our dear friends Darin and Deborah became engaged on Christmas Eve. We are so happy for you both!Posted by Picasa
