Atlantis/Bahamas 2010

We had the BEST TRIP EVER!!!! We spent a week at Atlantis in the Bahamas. (I spent a week in paradise with my 3 favorite boys!) There was just so much to do, but completely relaxing at the same time. I took over 400 pictures and am posting a few.... (I just realized some are posted twice - will fix later)

Shark!

Surfing....Daddy Style
Always in search of the perfect sea shell
There were fish everywhere - and we stopped to look at them all...over and over again :)

One of our daily trips to Starbucks

The Lazy River....oh, the lazy river. It takes about 25 minutes to go around the entire thing (and it's not all that lazy - there are rapids and water slides along the way). I can't begin to count how many times we went down. In the beginning of the week the boys were going in double inner tubes with Erik and I, and by the end of the week they were in their own tubes. This is Ben before his first solo ride - so proud of himself.

Here we are at Mosiac at the 'Cove' - our favorite breakfast spot.

The boys danced to the music of the Bahamian band at the pool. So CUTE - so, so, so cute. These pictures make me smile!

This is Cynthia. She gave the boys tattoos while they told her stories (she thought they were so funny and cute....she started to cry - not kidding!)

Another day, another Starbucks - BTW...this is the trip where Jake discovered his love of glazed doughnuts - and Ben's for Bagels, creams cheese and jelly
These three were in the water the ENTIRE time!
The BiG chair again
Dinner at the Ocean Club
The Atlantis has an AMAZING kids club. They did things on that island that we didn't even know existed. The boys went 4 times and Erik and I were able to enjoy some "adult" time while they were able to enjoy "other kids their age" time!

The boys playing with the band at the Marina

Of course Erik had to play some sort of sport.

Erik on the crazy slide (Mommies don't go down crazy slides).

A clown made the boys swords, a viking hat and a pirate hat out of balloons. The only meltdown of the entire trip is when we told them they couldn't take them home with us on the airplane.

We walked by this chair 100 times and the boys wanted a picture each time (didn't happen).

Atlantis Lego Man!

We had a backstage tour of Dolphin Cay and got to hang out with "Pippin" the Sea Lion. An interesting fact: a lot of the dolphins and sea lions at Atlantis were rescued from New Orleans after hurricane Katrina.
