The Park

I know you are all sitting on the edge of your seat waiting in anticipation of our next trip to the park - your wait is over. What a great day it was today - my guess is that it was about 73 degrees, sunny and beautiful! Sorry Erin. We spent most of the day on the slides, smelling the flowers and watching the ducks (I had to bribe them with a promise of going back to the ducks in order for them to come with me to the flowers). They concluded that the flowers were "smelly, mommy!" - (not in a good way). We had our first swimming lesson this morning - sure, I would have posted pictures of the experience, but didn't think ya'll were interested in Ben's red faced fit. The teacher assured me that it is like this a lot for first time kids. We'll see.

So far today

So far today we've played with our friends and got a special Halloween treat in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa.

We had a picnic for the peeps in Erik's Colorado Springs office this weekend.....cute little park - fun was had by all.

Vegas

Yep, it's been a while since my last post - we were in Las Vegas. We've been going there every year for a while now as an ad on to a conference Erik attends (next year I'd like to change it up a bit and hit the Orlando conference - the boys are getting to be that age :) I just want to say my husband rocks! I brought my clubs but we didn't end up golfing....opting for a day of leisure and shopping (yep, he went shopping with me:) We had some GREAT meals. I wanted to say "thank you" to my husband's beloved Colorado Buffaloes for beating CSU in today's 'Rocky Mountain Showdown'. Why am I thanking them?......I just love the mood it puts Erik in :)
