Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

I remember going there as a kid, but don't remember it being nearly as neat as it is now. This is now our new favorite zoo. As you can tell from the pictures below, it is very interactive. You can feed the giraffes (I think we bought $30 worth of crackers - worth it).

There is another area called "budgies" that you can go in and feed the birds. Ben was SO excited to go in but got cold feet when it was time to feed them. Jake on the other hand had no fear at all.

The only REAL fear of the day was when the boys wanted to ride the tram to the top of the mountain. Erik was a trooper but held on for dear life (there was no way he was going to let his kids know he is afraid of anything - especially anything as silly as heights).
