Our trip to the playground this morning

Douglas County is on Spring Break this week, so we went over to the school where our friend Janelle is a teacher and played on their toys. The boys have become quite the daredevils. Ben was climbing up a little ropes course that I would be afraid to climb up.....and they can't possibly go down the 2 sets of small slides, they have to go down the big slides - usually face first! can't you just see the mischief in his little eyes? Posted by Picasa

Changing skate wheels

Erik changed the wheels on his hockey skates and the boys wanted to help. They are SO interested in anything and everything that Erik is doing.

I think it took Erik 5 times longer to change his wheels with his little helpers :) Posted by Picasa

Like Father, Like Sons

For all that are aware of Erik's habits, you know that when he is thinking or talking on the phone, he paces (usually with his arms behind his back). I was in the kitchen and looked up to see this......Erik not aware that the boys had been following him around, mimicking him - notice the hands behind the back? Posted by Picasa

I've been a 'Bad Blogger'

I know, I know, it's been way too long since my last post. I have a good excuse.....I lost my camera. And, of course, I had to make absolutely, positively sure that it was really gone before I told Erik. As it turns out, it was no big deal telling him. Me: "Erik, I lost our camera....so sorry" Erik: "Did you do it on purpose?" Me: "of course not". Erik: "Well, then it was an accident - let's go buy another one." - I love that guy :)

I'm in the middle of trying to figure out how to get the software and piks downloaded from our new camera (ok, so that's not a hard task AT ALL, but I've been a bit busy with other things - 2 other things to be specific).

Oh, something SO CUTE happened today. Two of the little boys down the street rang our doorbell and asked "can the Twins come out and play?" Their first request to 'come out and play'. Do all moms cry when this happens or is it just me?
