Funny One

Just as I got done saying that I didn't have any funny stories........

I was undressing the boys for their bath. Naked Ben (I'm sure you can picture it - if not, see previous post) comes running into the bathroom and declares
"MOMMY, I'm bringing sexy back!"

Perhaps I should stop letting the boys listen to my workout playlist.......just a thought.

Alright, alright, already

OK, so I'm officially being bugged about my lack of posts lately. The fact is that I think everyone is sick of reading about/seeing trips to the park, zoo and swimming pool - and frankly, that's what we've been doing. I'm sort of getting annoyed with this squelshing hot weather and rain in the afternoon. If it's going to be hot, then so be it - but don't break up my day with rain. I just.don't.like.it. I can't even think of any good twin stories - Jake is calling me Anita now, so there's that. OH! The boys' birthday present is officially complete. I will take a picture of that and post it - that's new, right?

Nana, Papa and Monkeys

Nana and Papa are in town so we went to the zoo. We told the boys that Papa had never been to the zoo so they were excited to be able to show him the animals.

They LOVED the monkeys today - the gorillas put on quite a show for us......(ask me later).

Another Summer Day....Another Park

We went to the Bellview Park with our friends (and neighbors) today. We got there at about 11:30 and didn't leave until 4'ish! We were having such a great time, the day just flew by. We played in the river, had lunch, visited the petting zoo (I know, what is it with us and petting zoos?) We also got to ride a big red train.

Problem solved

We have had some landscapers here digging up our lawn :( and creating a playground space for the boys' birthday present (details soon). During this phase, it is more than the boys can handle to have a big mud pit in the middle of our yard with mommy saying "don't get in the mud, I don't want you to get your pajamas dirty". Ben complied and decided that in order to be able to play in the pit and not have to go to time out, he would just take his pajamas off and play in the mud. This is how I found him......."mommy, it's ok because I'm not getting
my pajamas dirty.

3rd Birthday

I tried to condense the birthday party piks, but posted 3 different times with no success.......AAAAAAAAGH! So now I'm just putting all the pictures out and praying that when I wake up in the morning they are still on the blog. If they are, I will elaborate. Goodnight!
