Hockey

We went to watch Daddy's hockey game tonight. The boys watched Erik play for a period or so, then decided to get their own game going. They wore themselves out and provided great entertainment for the crowd.

It's hard to tell, but these are all action shots (not so good with the camera settings for action yet). The boys were running so hard, they had to stop for water breaks - they had such a great game going. I'm not too sure who won, or how the scoring went, but I'm sure they are recapping the game right now while laying upstairs in their cribs......" Jake, you sure made an excellent slapshot in the 2 period" - "thanks Ben, your stick work was awesome tonight"......

The Zoo

We went to the Zoo today with Zoe, Abby, Stacy, Janelle and Juliana. It appears the train ride may have been the favorite, but the monkeys were pretty cool too! The kids were all so cute. They held hands and walked together (long enough for me to take the picture anyway).

The Hose

Ben was intrigued with the hose today. He figured out how to spray it....he cleaned his wagon, his lawn mower, and his brother! Posted by Picasa

Happy 4th of July!!!

Highlands Ranch had a big 4th of July celebration this year. The entire day was full of activity...... there was a parade in the morning along with another dog walk/kid bike ride. The town center had a loads of stuff too. The boys played in a bubble machine, rode on ponies, an electric train, and 'Verns mini train'. We had burgers and milkshakes at Fatburger, and the boys met Uncle Sam. It started to rain right before the fireworks, so we ran to the car, opened the back and watched the show from there. I think the boys enjoyed their first 4th of July (that they can remember....we were driving home from South Dakota on the 4th last year, and they slept most of the way). Posted by Picasa

Chatfield

We all went to Chatfield Resevoir to let Jackson play in the water. Althought the boys look bored in the pictures, they actually had fun....they would yell "DOGGY!" and "BALL!" and giggle when she jumped in. Jackson probably swam out to get the ball over 30 times! She enjoyed herself SO much......We really do need to take her more often. Posted by Picasa
